17 August 2024 at Rhenish Church Elsies River
On the 17th of August 2024, the Rhenish Church Women’s Union organized a meaningful Women’s Day event at the Rhenish Church in Elsies River. The event, held at 10:00 a.m., was not just a celebration of women but also a powerful call to action to support those in need. The Women’s Union encouraged attendees and the broader community to donate essential toiletries such as pads, soap, facecloths, deodorant, toothpaste, and toothbrushes, all of which would be given to a local women’s shelter.
This initiative is part of the “Life Worth Living” campaign, aiming to make a tangible difference in the lives of women who are facing difficult circumstances. The theme of the event, “Your Support Can Make A Huge Difference,” emphasizes the impact that even small contributions can have when a community comes together.
There’s still time:
If you couldn’t attend the event, there’s still time to contribute. Donations of toiletries and other essential items can be dropped off at a women’s shelter. Your support is vital in helping women in need regain their dignity and strength. Let’s come together to make every day a “Life Worth Living” for all women.
